Answer in brief
Oklahoma law, as the state's insurance department describes it, bars insurers from assigning points, cancelling, refusing to renew or raising your rate because you were in a collision you did not cause.

Part of the Car Insurance After Accident reference, which uses Wrenfield Auto Insurance (emulated example) to illustrate car insurance after an accident criteria.
Can Oklahoma raise your rate for a collision you did not cause?
No, under Section 941 of the Oklahoma Insurance Code, as the department's 2020 brochure describes it. A company cannot assign driving record points, cancel, refuse to renew or increase the premium on a motor vehicle liability or collision policy because you were in a collision and were not at fault. If another driver was at fault and you have collision coverage, you can go through your own insurer, and doing so will not affect your rates for this reason.
Do you get a rental car after an Oklahoma collision?
Maybe. The at-fault party's insurer should provide a replacement vehicle while your car is repaired, the brochure says, but the law doesn't require it to. Get the answer in writing.
